The NG-CDF Othaya Constituency is transforming schools and communities, one project at a time! Over the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 financial years, we’ve proudly invested in projects that are changing lives and making learning environments better for our children.
Upgrading Our Schools
Students across Othaya now enjoy improved facilities thanks to several classroom renovations:
-
4 classrooms at Gura Comprehensive School
-
2 classrooms at Ngaru Comprehensive School
-
3 classrooms at Kirai Primary School
We’ve also built brand new schools to expand access to quality education, including St. Augustine Witima Secondary School and St. Gregory Karima Secondary School.
To support hygiene and comfort, we constructed modern toilets at Kenyatta High School Mahiga and supplied 30 chairs and 30 lockers each to Ruruguti Primary, Ngaru Comprehensive, Kariko Primary, and Gatuyaini Primary Schools.
Supporting Our Communities
Beyond classrooms, NG-CDF is also improving community facilities. The Ugachiku Chief’s Camp was recently renovated, making it more welcoming and efficient for service delivery.
Investing in Learners’ Futures
Education is not just about buildings—it’s also about opportunities. On 15th April 2025, we held a bursary cheque issuance ceremony at Othaya CDF Hall, led by our MP, Hon. Wambugu Wainaina, to support bright students in need.
A Promise to Keep Growing
From new schools and renovated classrooms to bursaries and community projects, NG-CDF Othaya remains committed to uplifting our constituency. Together, we’re building brighter futures for generations to come!
